- Speak in public areas and acknowledge our guests and shipmates and address them whenever appropriate;
- Put guests at ease by speaking first and last as a greeting of helpfulness - and to confirm their needs have been met;
- Acknowledge our guests with a nod or greeting as they approach us and stop our own conversations (this is our 10 & 5 feet rule);
- Use the guest’s name to recognize every individual;
- Help ease guests’ anxiety and act courteously whenever they find themselves in a line - our hospitality zone.
