Entertainment Cruises has been exploring methods of reducing the amount of energy required to provide the highest quality product for our guests. We understand that every decision we make throughout our company makes a difference.
- Energy Efficient Computers: We are phasing these in throughout our 8 office locations nation-wide.
- Energy Efficient Appliances: Kitchen equipment in need of replacement is done so with an energy efficient model.
- Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel*: Each of our vessels runs on ULSD, which substantially lowers emissions of toxic matter from our engines.
- Tier 2 & 3 Engines & Generators: Upgrading to these models greatly reduces carbon, nitrogen, and sulfur emitted into the air & increases fuel efficiency. We have sought and received grants to upgrade several of our vessels and continue to explore opportunities to extend this to the entire fleet.
*Ultra low sulfur fuel available in NY starting December 2011.
